Gift baskets can be a great way to give a gift with a lot of surprises. You can buy them pre-made or create your own. Both are wonderful gifts, but I personally prefer to create my own. You can create your own theme and make it more personal, you can spend a lot or a little money and you can be creative. Below are some ideas to get you started.

A basket or box filled with little things for a new home owner can be a lot of fun to put together. There are different themes you can use such a kitchen gadgets, or aroma knickknacks, or just over decor trinkets. Other ideas can be more centered around the time of year and season. If it is Fall, then you can add things for cozy and chilly nights or even decor around Halloween. Have fun with it and remember that the box or basket (or even a cute bag!) can be part of the gift!

There are so many fun ways to put together a basket, bag or box for a new baby. Add anything from toys, blankets, outfits, bibs and more to make the un-wrapping fun and enjoyable. You can chose several things from a registry or mix and match with things that you can buy on your own. There are also a lot of pre-made baskets for this type of event, some focus on new mom supplies such as diapers, wipes, creams and such, or they can be more specific to gender with cute blue and pink presents.
